Vlado Jagodić suffered his first defeat against Sarajevo since taking over from Doboj Sloga last year.

The experienced expert in the previous three matches against the club from “Koševo” recorded two wins and a draw, but now the club under the leadership of Simon Rožman from the bench has taken a big step towards placement on the international stage.

Sarajevo celebrated a minimal victory against Dobojlija in Modriča 1:0 (0:0), and he scored a goal worth three points Frensis Kjereme 20 minutes before the end of the match.

With this victory, the “Bordeaux” team consolidated its fourth position in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and three rounds before the end of the season it has a seven-point lead over Sloga and Posušje.

In a not very interesting match in the “Dr Milan Jelić” stadium, almost nothing interesting happened except the goal. In that 70th minute, Kjereme, who replaced Renan Oliveira on the field just 12 minutes earlier, was left alone in the opponent’s penalty area and it was not difficult for him to beat Nemanja Šćekić after Amar Beganović’s assist.

Sloga long ago ensured survival, which according to Jagodić was the main goal of the season, so a dip in form was visible at the end of the season, which was also caused by injuries to some of the key players. (Lazar Vidić, Mladen Veselinović). On the other hand, Rožman’s team has “gasped” after slightly worse results, and in all likelihood they will succeed in their intention to gain a position leading to the international stage.
