The water gorge in Delaware

The Delaware Water Gap is quite a spectacular sight and offers plenty of picture-perfect spots. A geological feature where a river cuts through a mountain ridge, the Delaware River Water Gap cuts through the Pocono Mountains at the Pennsylvania state line. There are numerous hiking and biking trails, as well as kayaking and canoeing on the water itself. If you prefer to experience it from the comfort of your car, the Delaware River Scenic Byway offers 53 miles of breathtaking views.

If you’re feeling really adventurous, you can camp at Worthington State Forest Campground.

It was voted the best campground in New Jersey.
