‘Star Wars’ actor Mark Hamill will make a rare appearance

Earlier today, Fan Expo Chicago, for a city not so far away, announced that “Star Wars” star Mark Hamill will be appearing on its August slate.

The announcement comes as people celebrate Star Wars Day (as well as Free Comic Book Day).

Hamill rose to fame as the hero of the film franchise, Luke Skywalker, and later provided the voice of the character The Joker in ‘Batman: The Animated Series’.

Fan Expo Chicago, formerly Wizard World Comic Con Chicago, will take place August 16-18 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

It will be a rare appearance for Hamill, who will tell stories and answer questions during a panel, as well as autograph and photo sessions throughout the weekend.
