No. No. 11 Arkansas (36-14, 14-9 SEC) and Ole Miss (29-24, 6-17) will kick off the regular-season finale at Bogle Park.

The first pitch is now scheduled for 3:45 PM after the match was postponed due to lightning in the area. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network.

The Razorbacks have a chance to strengthen their NCAA Tournament top-8 seed argument. After winning five straight series against ranked opponents, Arkansas is all but cemented as a regional host.

But the Razorbacks are poised to potentially claim one of the top eight spots, guaranteeing home field advantage all the way to the Women’s College World Series.

Both D1Softball and Softball America project the Razorbacks to be the No. 9 national seed.

Arkansas clinched a top-four SEC finish with its win Friday night. The Razorbacks earned a bye to the conference tournament quarterfinals next week in Auburn, Ala.

Ole Miss is fighting for its NCAA Tournament life. The Rebels were projected this week by D1Softball and Softball America as one of the last four teams in the field.

The Game 1 win over Arkansas certainly boosted the Rebels’ chances of making the 64-team tournament, but a series win would likely put them safely in the field.

Should the Rebels make it, the SEC will likely see all 13 teams in the NCAA tournament. The remaining twelve teams are all safely in the field according to the forecast.
