Bellevue man killed in car crash in Iowa

A 39-year-old Bellevue man was killed in a wrong-way motorcycle crash in Mills County, Iowa, late Friday.

Jacob Saxer was riding a motorcycle westbound in the eastbound lanes of Highway 34 west of Glenwood, Iowa, and near the Nebraska border, just after 11 p.m., when he collided head-on with an eastbound Kia Niro, according to a crash report from the state of Iowa. Patrol.

According to the report, the crash was a head-on collision between driver and driver.

Saxer was pronounced dead at the scene. The 25-year-old driver of the Kia was taken to Nebraska Medicine Bellevue Medical Center, according to the report.
